Best garden tick so far!

Postby Tony Kennelly » Sat Apr 03, 2010 7:19 pm

I had just popped out into the garden to keep an eye on the dog, just before my dinner. As she was snuffling through the borders, my eyes turned to the skies of central Chelmsford for the local wildlife, which was much as usual, except for a funny looking gull over the nearby lake in Central park. I quickly grabbed my bins to check the soaring OSPREY heading west! It was gone within minutes but what a sighting & a tick.

Previously my best garden ticks were several Hobbies over my last house in Hornchurch, within 1/2 mile of the country park along the Ingrebourne valley. Can any one else beat that this year? Let me know & the winner can buy me the beers all night long at the AGM.

So - keep'em peeled!

Tony
