Turtle Dove

I had an excellent morning on SPTA. There were wall to wall Whitethroats; I have never seen so many. In total 31 species were recorded. The highlights were a Turtle Dove and a Hen Harrier. These were two birds I did not expect to see. In addition a Wheatear perched up well. On the down side the winter seems to taken its toll with Blue Tits not recorded.
