Coming soon:
Manuel Schweitzer, Raffael Ayé & Tobias Roth. Birds of Central Asia - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan. Christopher Helm & Princeton University Press. June 2012. Details. 336 pages, 141 color plates.I
I have been in contact with the Head of Ornithology at Helm and although he wouldn't commit to a mention of the AOS in the book (I did try). Military birders will be mentioned for adding to the knowledge of the avi-fauna of Afghanistan. Fingers crossed.

CENTRAL ASIA GUIDE
It would be nice if they donated a few books to those who submitted notes!
Hopefully we can get a photograph of the book in action!
