Happy New Year

Postby Lesser Spot Finder » Thu Dec 31, 2009 10:21 am

Happy New Year to you all. Four species on camp today with one Masked Wagtail, one Crested Lark, numerous Tree Sparrows and a late surprise, a juvenile Rose-coloured Starling drinking at a puddle adjacent to the main drag in Bastion 1.

I'll be in Kandahar in the next few days and hope to pick up a couple of more species in between Tim Horten's and Burger King forays.

See some of you soon.

Richard

Happy New Year. Here's a web site for updates about the reappeared brown shrike, which disappeared after the pre christmas heavy snow falls: http://londonbirders.wikia.com/wiki/LatestNews

Have a good R&R & safe end of tour
