Merryfield Airfield - 2020 Ringing Programme

The following provisional dates are for ringing at RNAS Merryfield:

10 - 12 April - Coinciding with first arrivals of Nightingales and other farmland/scrub migrants.
15 - 17 May - Migrants
5 - 7 Jun - Juveniles
3 - 5 July - Migrants and residents
17 - 19 July - Post breeding nightingales and resident birds.

Ringing may be all weekend or selected days. May also include checks of Barn Owl boxes. All ringing weather-dependent as usual.

All military ringers welcomed for a single day or complete weekend, with prior notice.
