Week 11 - It aint half hot mum!

Postby Lesser Spot Finder » Mon Jun 25, 2007 8:54 am

The past 2 (very hot) weeks have been disappointing species wise but there has been a massive influx of Barn Swallow flying South East. Sunday 24 June saw some 300+ over in less than half a minute during the lunch break and there was a steady flow through all day. Crested Lark families are very much in evidence and another lifer seen last week with two very obliging Little (House) Swifts over the HQ. Oriental Skylarks are making a daily appearance and might have recently fledge young. Look foward to seeing some of you on SPTA in July.
