Migration, which I feel is probably late is much in evidence now. Plenty of Flava Wagtails most evenings along with large flocks (30+)of Black-winged Stilts. There is no standing water nearby (afterall it is a desert) so presumably these birds are on migration. One new species yesterday with Plain Sand Martin (5) flying overhead at first light. Two Crested Lark this morning (12 Apr). Birds are thin on the ground throughout the day as temperatures rise daily. Birding completed whilst running in the morning or just before last light. I am available on my email address should anyone wish to speak.

UPDATE

Three Eastern Olivaceous Warblers by towers yesterday along with a Desert Lesser Whitethroat. A walk around camp also produced two Bay-backed Shrikes and a Rock Thrush. A pair of Crested Lark have now taken up territory near the new build hospital.
