Nowt about!

This has been a strange week. Visible overhead passage over Bastion 2 with Crested Lark and Masked Wagtail unsurprisingly supplying the majority of birds. A lone Flava Wagtail flew south on Wednesday and two Red-throated/Taiga Flycatchers over yesterday. Runs over to Bastion 1 in a vane attempt to see something else only produced Tree Sparrows.
Moths have been particularly common this week, although I could only identify one species; a Hummingbird Hawkmoth in the Quartermasters Department. Butterflies have also been present with one which looks like a Monarch and a Blue which remains unidentified but then again I have problems identifying them in the UK.
See what happens when you spend a week in Bastion!
