I have been in contact with the Head of Ornithology at Helm and although he wouldn't commit to a mention of the AOS in the book (I did try). Military birders will be mentioned for adding to the knowledge of the avi-fauna of Afghanistan. Fingers crossed.

It would be nice if they donated a few books to those who submitted notes!

Hopefully we can get a photograph of the book in action!

Good work Richard. We have to fight for acknowledgement everywhere now. A worth cause though for this book.

A week after the Bird Fair which seems strange to me. Amazon have not committed a date as yet and you cannot pre-order.
