Visited Stubb Mill Norfolk Wildlife Trust Reserve yesterday. This reserve is adjacent to Hickling Broad and a place I haven't visited since I was a teenager. The site is a real gem and is renowned for Common Crane of which I saw two although I heard possibly a further two more.

41 Cranes had been seen the day before and the Norfolk Guide states that there is a 80% chance of seeing them on a visit. Stub Mill is also renowned for its winter Harrier roost (both Hen and Marsh) which also draws in Merlin.

It's only 33 miles from Cley NWT and worth a visit.
