Nowt about!

There really isn't much about at the moment. This time two years ago I was inundated with birds at the Waste Water site but that area is now under the runway. I have run here and there looking for suitable sites but have found nothing obvious as yet. I guess I'll have to bump into something soon and, as migration increases, see more birds around the various camps. At the rate I'll be seeing all my bird species beyond the wire. FOBs generally turn up something interesting.

I have seen many Crested Larks though and they seem to be omni present. The males sing in full flight, just like Skylarks, but will also reproduce the same song from the ground, Hesco protection or barbed wire fences. They are brave little birds and will run just in front of people.

Watch this space for more birds (hopefully).
