Excellent days birding today at Oxford Island; with the usual Herons, Pochard, Tufted Duck, Common Tern, Black-Headed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Guls, Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Mallard, Mute Swans, Cormorant, etc, but the star attraction was an Osprey! Not ringed (as far as could be seen and not sure of sex. It flew by the hide and then perched directly opposite on the other side of the inlet, it stayed there for more than an hour, unruffled by jet-skiing or boats. Wonderful :D
