The last week has been extremely hot but with a number of good finds. There has been a good fall of Warblers containing Booted, Eastern Olivaceous, Blyth's Reed, Hume's Lesser Whitethroat, Upcher's and Plain Leaf Warbler. Hume's Lesser Whitethroats are still active around the camp. The find of the week was 4 Isabelline Shrikes of the race phoenicroides. This is the second race of this species found on the camp and was most unexpected. The only raptor of the week was an overflying Shikra which was seen during a run. The week has seen a number of sand storms which appear to have kept birds in situ. Hope all is well and I look forward to seeing the reports from the AGM
