Seven Weeks - has it really been that long?

The avifauna in week seven has decreased dramitically. Hot days, high winds and sandstorms have kept birding to a minimum. Migrants have all but disapeared with the last confirmed being a late Spotted Flycatcher. An extremely distant Hoopoe Lark was the highlight of the week with unidentified distant Bee-Eaters easing the monotony. Crested Lark, Tree Sparrow and Common Myna are breeding species with young now on the wing. Striped Hawkmoths(real beauties), Camel Spiders and Jerboas (albeit not seen by me) have made brief visits to my accommodtion to liven up events.

I await the Autumn migration!

Hope the bad weather back in the UK hasn't spoilt the birding.
