I had an excellent morning on SPTA. There were wall to wall Whitethroats; I have never seen so many. In total 31 species were recorded. The highlights were a Turtle Dove and a Hen Harrier. At first I thought this may be a belated April Fool with mention of birds at Choseley Barn. As you were unable to visit I have to presume that the lady involved was a stooge for Richard. I can however recommend a few sites around Salisbury Plain for Corn Bunting.
